Served as a DMOZ (Open Directory Project) editor — the authoritative human-curated web directory of its era. Established deep relationships across the early web publishing community and a reputation for quality curation.

Published in Website Magazine (national print). A physical publication record that serves as an evidentiary anchor for inventor lineage — Bret Fencl’s expertise documented in national print media years before “thought leadership” was a concept.
